Yes, there is a fee for Skillsoft Professional Services team to implement the Oracle Learning Cloud connector. After you implement the connector, it is free to use as part of Percipio.

Yes. The Oracle Learning Cloud  connector is the only supported method for automatically synchronizing Percipio learner usage data.

Yes. The Oracle Learning Cloud connector is the only supported method for automatically synchronizing Percipio content items.

Yes. If you contact your Skillsoft account team, they can share with you a short video that shows the learner experience.

This will depend on how prepared you are and the availability of your resources to work on the project.

To ensure your success, our Skillsoft team will work collaboratively with you during the implementation process and help you make decisions around deployment options that will work best for your configuration.

Our implementation team has defined the project schedule based on our years of experience and best practices. The project typically takes 6-8 weeks, but each project is unique and so Skillsoft will make our best effort to accommodate your schedule.

Yes. All Skillsoft content types can be made available in Oracle Learning Cloud

Journeys and Channels will be transformed into a course and the title will be enhanced with the content type. For example: (Journey)First Time Manager or (Channel) Python Fundamentals.

Yes. During the implementation process you will work with the Skillsoft account team to select the content you wish to make available.

You will be able select by the Skillsoft content types, for example only adding courses, and further refine the selection to specific content items if you wish.

It is important to note that if the content items are not loaded into Oracle Learning Cloud, then usage will not be recorded in Oracle Learning Cloud for these items.

No. However, speak to your Skillsoft account team about how you can use Oracle's Content Management System to load and manage Skillsoft compliance content.

Coming in Q3 2024, there will be a major upgrade and Skillsoft will work with you at that time to include compliance content.

An Oracle Learning Cloud administrator  manages the scheduled time, but the process runs at least once a day.

Yes. All the Skillsoft content in all languages will be included in the process.

Yes. New Skillsoft content items will automatically be added to the  Oracle Learning Cloud.

Yes. Updated Skillsoft content items will automatically update in Oracle Learning Cloud.

Yes. Retired Skillsoft content items will automatically be marked as inactive in Oracle Learning Cloud.

Yes, for certain values. These values are usually unique to your specific implementation of Oracle Learning Cloud and not related to Skillsoft metadata about the content item.

During the implementation process the Skillsoft account team will work with you to configure these values.

No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft Subjects and Areas to Oracle Learning Cloud equivalents. This information is added as Tags that can be used in search.

No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft Collection information to Oracle Learning Cloud.

Using SAML Single Sign-on (SSO) means that learner’s access to the content in Percipio should be seamless. This is dependent on how your SAML system is configured.

Yes. Skillsoft recommends using Oracle Learning Cloud as your SAML Identity Provider, but you can use any identity provider so long as it can supply the correct learner identifier.

No. Using our recommended SAML configuration means that a Percipio learner account will be created the first time the learner accesses content. The learner account is populated with the SAML information your system supplies. Subsequent accesses will update the Percipio account based on the data from your SAML system.

You can also choose to setup an automated feed from your HR systems to add additional learner information to Percipio, if all the information is not available in your SAML system

Oracle Learning Cloud  uses the metadata about Skillsoft content delivered through the Automated Content Management process. Oracle Learning Cloud  has its own algorithms for displaying content, handling learner's searches, and providing content recommendations which is different from Percipio.

No. There is no synchronization of Oracle Learning Cloud assignments to Percipio.

No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft subjects and areas to Oracle Learning Cloud  subjects.

Learners will be able to discover and launch content from:

• Percipio web
• Percipio mobile app
• Any Percipio add-ons or plug-ins, such as Percipio for Microsoft Teams or Percipio ELSA browser plug-in

Yes. The Skillsoft content when synchronized is added to Oracle Learning Cloud with “None” availability as default. The Oracle Learning Cloud admin can then set the appropriate availability. For more information, please contact your Cornerstone Account Team.

No. There is no synchronization of Skillsoft collection information to Oracle Learning Cloud  and so it is not possible to assign a Percipio license via Oracle Learning Cloud .

You can assign licenses in Percipio, but learners may find content items in Oracle Learning Cloud  that they will not have access to in Percipio.

Yes. Oracle Learning Cloud will record the usage as long as the content item exists in Oracle Learning Cloud.

Yes. Oracle Learning Cloud  will record the completion as long as the content item exists in Oracle Learning Cloud .

Percipio sends usage to Oracle Learning Cloud within a few seconds of it occurring in Percipio.

Yes. The learner’s usage is tracked and available to report on using Percipio Analytics. Admins can also see the learner activity data in  .
