Percipio Workday Learning Integration

Overview

The Workday Learning Connector was developed by Workday in partnership with Skillsoft. The connector is available to all Workday Learning customers who have an active subscription for Workday Cloud Connect for Learning (CCLRN) SKU.

The connector allows customers to launch Skillsoft non-compliance content both from Percipio and from LinkedIn Learning Workday Learning in addition to other platforms or integrations in their learning ecosystem.

The Workday Learning LinkedIn Learning connector delivers three primary functions:

• Automated content deployment to the Workday catalog
• Content launch from Workday to Percipio
• Tracking Percipio learner activity back to Workday

How it works

The diagram below represents both the flow from LinkedIn LearningWorkday Learning to Percipio and the flow of data from Percipio to Workday LearningLinkedIn Learning.

Automated content management

This is how LinkedIn LearningWorkday Learning is made aware of the Skillsoft non-compliance content that is available. LinkedIn Learning Workday Learning calls a Skillsoft API to retrieve the content metadata for the Skillsoft content types supported by Workday Learning. Workday Learning then uses that metadata to create, update, or remove each Skillsoft non-compliance content item as a Workday external content item. Each Skillsoft content item uses a Percipio share link. When your learners launch a Skillsoft content item from Workday LearningLinkedIn Learning, the content launches within your Percipio site.

Content launch and consumption

When learners launch a Skillsoft content item from LinkedIn LearningWorkday Learning or the Workday Learning Mobile app, the item opens automatically in Percipio without a learner having to log into Percipio. This seamless experience uses SAML Single Sign-On. In addition, learners can also access Percipio directly. Any content supported by Workday Learning that learners access directly in Percipio is still recorded in Workday LearningLinkedIn Learning.

Learner completion tracking

This is how we ensure that LinkedIn LearningWorkday Learning has a record for each learner for each Skillsoft content item they accessed. Percipio records all accesses, whether the learner follows an item's link from LinkedIn LearningWorkday Learning or accesses an item directly in Percipio. Percipio calls a specific Workday Learning API to send the tracking information. .
