Single Sign-On

Single Sign On (SSO) is an external authentication method of access control that enables a user to log in once using standard corporate credentials and gain access to multiple systems without having to log in again. To use SSO with Percipio, you need an Identity Provider (IdP) that uses the Secure Assertion Mark-up Language (SAML) 2.0 standard. SAML-based SSO with Percipio works with most common identity providers including Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS), Microsoft Azure, and Okta. Skillsoft recommends implementing SSO as it is an effective way to remove barriers to learning and improve the overall learner experience. If users are already authenticated, they can access Skillsoft content and Percipio from anywhere within your learning ecosystem including web sites, education portals, social tools, and your LMS.

Skillsoft recommends enabling auto-provisioning with Single Sign-on. Auto-provisioning ensures that learners without an account in Percipio, but who are granted access to Percipio from their IdP, automatically have an account created for them in Percipio.
