GDPR Compliance

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the European Union’s law on data privacy and protection, in effect since May 2018. It governs how organizations collect, store, process, and use personal data of individuals in the EU / EEA. The UK has its own version of GDPR compliance - UK-GDPR.

GDPR compliance applies even if your company is not based in the EU, but you handle EU residents' data. GDPR compliance governs learner data such as name, email, activity logs, assessments, and career profiles.

GDPR Compliance - Use Case:

  1. A learner in Germany requests their Percipio activity history. The Percipio platform must provide it.
  2. If the learner leaves the company, they can request deletion of their data.
  3. Data must be hosted and processed under strict security (often in EU data centers).

If you are GDPR compliant select Yes, If you are not, select No. You can change this preference later. Skillsoft customers can view your compliance and make decisions accordingly.
