Content Accessibility

Accessibility means designing products, services, and environments so that all people, including those with disabilities, can use them effectively and equitably. Accessibility is guided by principles like Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), Section 508 (US law for federal technology), and EN 301 549 (EU equivalent).

Percipio has provision for both accessible and non-accessible content. Customers have the option to configure Percipio for their organization so that only accessible content is available to the users. In addition to Percipio accessibility options, Skillsoft works with our partners to share accessibility conformance information by providing accessibility conformance reports based on the ITIC Voluntary Product Accessibility Template (VPAT).

VPAT

  • What it is: A standardized self-assessment document vendors create to report accessibility compliance.
  • Result: Produces an Accessibility Conformance Report (ACR).

If you have shared your VPAT with the Skillsoft Marketplace Manager and if it has been approved, you may mark yourself as accessible. If not, mark it as No.You can change this preference at a later time if you are not sure.

Skillsoft customers can view your compliance and make decisions accordingly.
