The Experience API (or xAPI) is a specification for learning technology that makes it possible to collect data about the wide range of experiences a person has (online and offline).

Percipio functions as a Learning Record Provider (LRP) previously known as an Activity Provider (AP). As an LRP, Percipio sends learning record statements to a Learning Record Store (LRS). These learning record statements are in the form of actor, verb, object.
