Add or Modify Personal Information

Edit your profile in order to share your contact information, interests, background, and activities with other members of your Community. If you choose to make your profile visible, this information will display when others visit your profile, and in relevant search results.

To add or modify Personal information

Click Personal Info.
Click Edit to enable the personal information fields.
Complete the following fields:
First and Last Name (required): Pre-populated from your Skillport user profile. Maximum length for each field is 35 characters.
Email Address (optional): Enter your email address. Maximum length is 256 characters.
Upload Image (optional): Upload an image of yourself to display in your profile and next to your comments.
- Click Add. The Profile Image window displays.
- Click Browse. The File Upload window displays.
- Navigate to the picture you want to upload. The file must be in .jpg, .gif, or .png format, and be less than 5MB in size.
- Click a file name to select it.
- Click Open. The File Upload window closes and the full file path displays in the Browse field.
- Click Upload. Your picture displays in the image box.
Location (optional): Use to indicate your geographic location (for example, your branch or office location).
Education and Certifications (optional): Share information about your professional background. Maximum length is 255 characters.
About Me (optional): Share information about yourself with your community (for example, your position, interests, or areas of knowledge). Maximum length is 4000 characters.
Click Update.

To add or modify your Interests and Expertise

Click Interests and Expertise.
Click Edit to display the field.
In the text field, enter an area of interest or expertise. Maximum length is 32 characters.
Click the stars to add a rating to the entry.
Click Add New.
The information will be added to a list.
Repeat for additional entries.
You can modify each entry by clicking the entry title, or you can delete the entry.
Click Update.
