SkillPort Mobile User Guide
SkillPort Mobile is an application specifically designed for your mobile devices. It includes a subset of SkillPort functionality and is designed for working with mobile content.
Note: To ensure mobile content playback, turn off pop-up blockers in your browser.
Mobile content includes:
Non-mobile content includes all other types of learning assets. With the exception of ILT courses, all non-mobile content can be searched for, viewed, and managed in My Plan—but not launched for play—on SkillPort Mobile.
You can switch between displaying only mobile content or all content by clicking Actions > Show Mobile Only > or Show All.
You can search for content by entering key terms in the Search field. By default, your search results will return only mobile content. You can switch between displaying only mobile content or all content by clicking Actions > Show Mobile Only > or Show All.
Only mobile content can be played on SkillPort Mobile. With the exception of ILT courses, all non-mobile content can be searched for, viewed, and added to your My Plan, but cannot be played on SkillPort Mobile.
My Plan contains the learning assets that you and your manager (or training administrator) have assigned to you for completion. In My Plan, you can view all assets except course evaluations, and you can add assets to and remove assets from My Plan (except course topics and book sections). However, you cannot move assets between folders, nor can you perform any operations on the Development Plan folder in My Plan.
When you add an asset to My Plan, it is automatically added to the top-level Personal folder.
MyFeed provides you with a list of up to the 20 most recent assets for which any of the following events have occurred:
My Progress provides progress information on all assets. Note that you cannot view or print progress reports or certificates of completion, nor complete course evaluations, on SkillPort Mobile.
You can launch only mobile assets via SkillPort Mobile on your mobile device. SkillPort Mobile tracks your progress, score, and completion status for mobile content in the same manner as for non-mobile content launched from your computer.
