Edit a Custom Asset's Image
External learning objects (ELOs) created within Skillport, as well as custom assets created outside of Skillport and then uploaded to your site, can use either a standard image provided by Skillsoft (the default) or a custom one that you upload.
To edit a custom asset's image
- Click Content > Library on the navigation bar.
The Library page displays.
- In the Edit Contents pane, expand the Publisher Custom Content folder (with the lock icon) and locate the desired custom asset.
- Hover the cursor over the custom asset, and click the Edit link.
The Edit Asset dialog box displays.
- Select Use custom image.
- Click Add.
- Click Browse to navigate to the desired image file.
Custom images must follow these guidelines:
- Size: Up to 5 MB
- Format: .jpg, .gif, .png
- Dimensions: 125 pixels (width) x 138 pixels (height)
Note: Using a portrait-oriented image with a similar proportional relationship as the recommended dimensions above increases the chances of the image displaying correctly throughout Skillport.
- Orientation: Portrait
Note: Using a landscape-oriented image with dimensions where the width is longer than the height may cause display issues.
- Click Upload.
- Click Save.
