Specify Localized Values for Custom User Profile Fields

If your site is configured to support it, you can specify localized labels for custom user profile fields. In addition, if your site supports localized labels, you can also specify localized values for drop-down lists.

Click Configuration > User Profile.
The Manage User Profile Fields page displays.
Click New Field.
The New Custom Field dialog box (for sites enabled with localized labels) displays:
In the Labels section, click Add.
The Add Field Label dialog box displays:
Select a Language from the drop-down list.
In Label, enter the text (in the selected language) that you want to display in Skillport Learner.
Click OK and Add Another to save the label and immediately specify the label for another language, or click OK to save the label and close the Add Field Label dialog box.

In the Edit Select List Values dialog box, in the Values section, click Add.
In ID, enter the value to display in the drop-down list.
In each {language} field, enter the text for the ID in the selected language.
Click OK and Add Another to specify another value, or click OK to save the value.
