Skillport 8 custom content customers looking to publish objects to their test sites should be aware that there are some code issues preventing the successful updating of those custom objects once they have been successfully published. The issues prevent the updated course from displaying all of the relevant metadata about the object. These issues will not prevent you from publishing the object a second time using a new course/item ID. These issues will impact any content published through Skillport’s Publisher feature and include courses, documents, sound and video files. These issues do not impact custom KnowledgeCenter or Skillsoft Advantage content packages.

However, these new settings will not be available in the Player until the release of RIA 3.1.
