Skillport Administrator Known Issues
Certificates of Completion
- If you create your certificates of completion using Adobe Flash instead of HTML, be aware that some tablets do not support Flash. You can continue to use the Flash versions, but some learners will only be able to view them from desktop computers and laptops.
Workaround: Create and use HTML versions if you want the certificates to be viewable on all tablets.
Learning Programs
- Learning Programs with more than 10 levels are not supported.
Workaround: Reduce the depth of your Learning Programs to 10. You can include one parent and up to 9 descendant levels.
OLSA / BCS
Skillport 8 custom content customers looking to publish objects to their test sites should be aware that there are some code issues preventing the successful updating of those custom objects once they have been successfully published. The issues prevent the updated course from displaying all of the relevant metadata about the object. These issues will not prevent you from publishing the object a second time using a new course/item ID. These issues will impact any content published through Skillport’s Publisher feature and include courses, documents, sound and video files. These issues do not impact custom KnowledgeCenter or Skillsoft Advantage content packages.

Player Settings
To prevent learners from bypassing content or potentially missing critical content, two new Player settings that control video playback speeds are available in Skillport Administrator:
- Remove the ability to speed up video playback in Compliance courses
- Set the maximum speed of video playback for all courses
However, these new settings will not be available in the Player until the release of RIA 3.1.
