Desktop Applications and Plug-ins

Some Skillsoft software products require a local install on the client computer. A user must have Administrator rights to install the following applications and plug-ins:

Desktop applications

• Dialogue Design
• Dialogue Recorder
• KnowledgeCenter Editor
• Skillsoft Course Manager (SCM)
• SkillStudio

Plug-ins

• Dialogue Live (Presenter) Application Sharing
• Live Learning Student Guides

  Note: For PMI and Cisco student guides, you must have the FileOpen plug-in installed. The FileOpen plug-in is not supported on Mac computers, therefore these specific guides are not available on Mac operating systems.
