Can I access Books24x7 content on SkillPort Mobile?
Yes. Like SkillPort 7.3, Books24x7 detects the devices you use to access the application, and will launch a simplified, mobile-optimized user interface (UI) for smartphones and the full Books24x7 UI for tablet devices.
Can I download mobile courses for offline play?
Not at this time. You will need an internet connection to view mobile courses in Skillport Mobile.
Can I use SkillPort Mobile on my Kindle Fire?
No. At this time, SkillPort Mobile is not supported on Amazon's Kindle Fire. For a list of supported mobile operating systems and browsers, see the Skillsoft Mobile System Requirements.
Do I need an app for SkillPort Mobile?
No. You do not need an app as mobile content is delivered through your smartphone's native browser.
I am trying to view a course on my smartphone but it won't launch. What's going on?
If your browser is blocking pop-ups, mobile content will not launch. Follow the steps for your mobile device to ensure that pop-ups are not blocked.
What is MyFeed?
MyFeed provides you with a list of up to the 20 most recent assets for which any of the following events have occurred:
- The asset has been added to MyPlan.
- The asset’s due date is approaching.
- The asset’s reminder has just expired (the reminder email has been sent).
- The asset is incomplete and its due date has just passed.
