Launching SkillStudio

To launch SkillStudio

1. Double-click the SkillStudio icon on your desktop, or click Start > All Programs > Skillsoft > SkillStudio > SkillStudio.

   Note: When launching SkillStudio in Microsoft® Windows 7 or Vista, a warning message displays recommending NOT to work with courses on network drives, as this can cause unrecoverable file errors and course corruption. Skillsoft strongly recommends working from a local drive to avoid these potential problems.

   

2. If a newer version of SkillStudio is available, the Download Software Updates dialog box displays.

   

   1. Click Download.
   2. Specify the directory where you want to save the installation file.

      The Download Complete message displays when the file has been downloaded.

   3. Click Install.
