Course IDs

Course IDs provide a unique identifier for your new or customized course. The ID consists of 6 sections:

• Curriculum Identifier

  

  A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 letters or numbers may be used to identify the curriculum (for example, comm for a communications course).

  Note: The Curriculum Identifier and Learning Path Identifier cannot exceed a total of 8 characters.

• Learning Path Identifier

  

  A minimum of 2 and a maximum of 6 characters may be used to identify the learning path (for example, mktg for the Marketing Learning Path).

  Note: The Curriculum Identifier and Learning Path Identifier cannot exceed a total of 8 characters.

• Course Letter

  

  Choose a letter from the drop-down list.

• Course Number

  

  Enter 2 digits to identify the customized course (for example, 05).

• Content Type

  

  An automatically generated value based on the course type (for example, bs for business).

• Course Language

  

  An automatically generated value based on the original course language (for example, enus for U.S. English).
