Sim Dialog Video Caption

With the Sim Dialog Video Caption template you can insert an html-based Flash video to display dialog interactions between characters, creating simulated, real-life experiences based upon course content.

Note: When creating the Sim Dialog Video Caption pages, a non-video, static image version must also be created which will play back in these scenarios:

• If video is turned off at the system level
• When a user selects to turn off video play back in the SKillSoft Course Player
• When a user is in 508 playback mode

Supported Graphic Functionality

• Background Graphics
• Static Graphics
• Animated Graphics (Animated GIFs)
• Html Flash video files

Note: Modifying the text in dialog items (by either adding, removing, or editing the dialog text) will result in video files that no longer match the text on the page. You can either add your own video files to correct this, or use static images in place of video to ensure that the edited dialog text relates to the image or video on the page.
