Note: Launching courses via tablets requires a tablet-compatible LMS such as SkillPort 7.3 or greater. If you’re creating content for older versions of SkillPort, or other non-tablet compatible LMSs, you do not need to include the additional media files required for tablet deployments.
Changes and Modifications
Updated flash JS to version 2.8 to support the non-animated 508 mode on Flash pages that were developed in Flash 8 – ie. pages in the Expert Learning courses.
Increased the image disk size to 500kb for Roleplay and Simdia Video Caption pages which contain video. These are updated from - 100kb and 300kb respectively.
Modified the resource pages to no longer use frames.
Known Issues
CR 114831: When you add a case study Simdia Video Caption page to an objective, populate all the text fields and try to play through the page on the Graphics tab, then the text of the last caption item does not appear as the caption container disappears.
Workaround: If you want to see the final text on these page types, you need to preview the page when it is added under an objective instead of using the Graphics tab.
Bug Fixes
CR109051: The “Race” field on the Character Tab and Video Report changed to “Ethnicity”.
CR108417: If the same video name exists in the same topic, this should be caught in the audit.
CR106029: VIDEO REPORT - Added a new field to the character details on the Casting page, VIDEO (with a yes/no value) to make it clearer which characters appear in video pages.
CR106031: VIDEO REPORT - Change to landscape layout on script pages.
CR105089: Course index - Nasbaindex.html does not show the copyright, en dash and em dash characters correctly (not a regression).
CR70893: Clone course - If the registered trade mark symbol exists on the general information tab, they are corrupted on cloning the course (not a regression).
CR106032: VIDEO REPORTS - Add the course title to the Casting page of the report and to the report filename when generated.
CR107170: VIDEO: If we generate a blank course from a video course, the blank course does not retain the Video check box in a selected state.
CR110787: Failure to generate NASBA index prevents a successful final publish.
CR104558: Text and localization audits need to be listed under Writing Tab errors.
CR105000: The frame.html relating to the BLR pages is displayed in the external file section of the localization data report.
