Objectives

Objectives are associated with topics, and they precisely define what the learner should be able to do after working in a particular topic. Test items are associated with objectives.

Learning Domains

• Affective domains - Challenge a learner's perceived feelings, values or attitudes about the objective
• Cognitive domains - Challenge a learner's knowledge and intellectual skills related to the objective

Learning Levels

Depending on which learning domain is chosen, the choices in the drop-down list change. If you choose Affective, the only option available is Awareness. If you choose Cognitive, the following options are available:

Check this if you want to test the learner on objectives presented in the topic.

Objective Text Field

Use this to manually construct an objective (for example, distinguish the outcome for a presented hypothetical situation). This objective is visible on the topic transition page in the player.
