The new CCA Course IDs comply with the requirements listed in the AICC and SCORM standards.
AICC: AICC Specification v3.5, section 4.5 states that unless otherwise specified, the field size limit is 255 characters.
SCORM:SCORM 1.2 Run Time Environment Specification, section 3.4.5 states that CMIIdentifiers must be: An alphanumeric group of characters with no white space or unprintable characters in it. Maximum of 255 characters.
