LMS-specific notes for Skillsoft AICC content
Cornerstone AICC Content Importation:
Content is imported as AICC.
Descriptive data is displayed but any descriptive data which appears in the Course Description field in the .CRS file after the 1st carriage return is omitted.
Training Time (Course Duration) has to be entered manually during import as it’s not taken from the AICC metadata files.
Bulk Upload
It’s possible to perform a bulk upload of AICC metadata files in a single zip file which Cornerstone then breaks down into separate activities within the LMS.
LMS Status:
Prior to launching, Cornerstone displays a Module status of ‘Not Attempted’. Subsequently the Module status reflects the values posted by the player i.e. ‘incomplete’, ‘completed’.
The overall Training Progress initially displays a status of Registered and changes to In Progress once the course has been accessed, where it remains until set to Completed on completion of the course.
