Skillsoft learning assets support communication via the Aviation Industry CBT (Computer-Based Training) Committee (AICC) HTTP-based AICC/CMI Protocol (HACP) method with LMS's, the assets support the three major versions v2.2, v3.5 and v4.0.
The HACP method uses HTTP as the communication channel between the assets and the LMS, enabling learning assets to be hosted on a different server to the LMS.

Skillsoft learning assets are customer hosted. Assets are delivered to the customer via CD or eDelivery, and installed and managed by the customer on their own servers.
