Course Installation Overview

After you download selected courses to the sFTP site, there are several additional steps required before the new courses are available to your students. You must add the new courses to the Content Installation kit and then run the Content Installer. These steps are sequentially detailed in the following topics:

In general, the process is as follows:

  1. Download selected courses from the sFTP site.
  2. Download the Installer files from the sFTP site.
  3. Unzip Installer files to local directory. This can be a temporary directory in which you will run the Content Installer.
  4. Copy the downloaded courses to the \courses folder within the installer root folder.
  5. Execute the installer.exe and follow the instructions for Content Installation.
