Use the following parameters to set start and end dates.

• BCS Parameter: report_start_date (required)
  • Possible Values: <date_value in the format MM/DD/YYYY>
  • Default Value: one month prior to the date the report is run
• BCS Parameter: report_end_date (optional)
  • Possible Values: <date_value in the format MM/DD/YYYY>
  • Default Value: 'now', or the last successful database refresh

Use the following parameters to set dates for a number of previous intervals, such as, "previous 3 months."

• BCS Parameter: report_date_period (required)
  • Possible Values: 1 (Days), 2 (Weeks), 3 (Months), 4 (Years)
  • Default Value: 3
• BCS Parameter: report_date_period_count (required)
  • Possible Values: valid numeric value with the following maximum value for each report_date_period:

    Days - 9999

    Weeks - 999

    Months - 999

    Years - 99

  • Default Value: 1
• BCS Parameter: report_to_date (optional)

  The report_to_date setting allows you to include all activity up to the current date and time, regardless of the report_date_period chosen.

  • Possible Values: true or false
  • Default Value: true
• BCS Parameter: display_units (optional and used in chart templates only)
  • Possible Values: 1 (Year), 2 (Quarter), 3 (Months), 4 (Weeks), 5 (Days)
  • Default Value: 3

• Description: Provides the ability to select one, many, or all assets in the filter criteria.
• Control Type: Multi-select

  • Possible Values: CSV list of <book_asset_id> values
  • Default Value: All available

• Description: Provides the ability to select all or specific asset categories.
• Control Type: Multi-select

• Description: Provides the ability to select Books24x7 collections to include in the report.

• Description: Provides the ability to specify a seat status.
• Control Type: Single-select
• BCS Parameter: seat_status
  • Possible Values: 0 (deleted), 1 (occupied)

• Description: Provides the ability to specify a Books24x7 subscription ID for a list of all subscriptions associated with the SkillPort site.
• Control Type: Single-select
• BCS Parameter: subscription_id
  • Possible Values: <books_subscription_id>
  • Default Value: Company subscription id

• Description: Allows the user to select one event and then filter that event by date.
• Control Type: Multi-option
• BCS Parameter: date_filter_field
  • Possible Values: first_access_date, last_access_date

Dynamic Dates

For dynamic dates that change each time the report is accessed, use the following parameters:

• BCS Parameter: filter_start_date
  • Possible Values: <date_value in the format MM/DD/YYYY>
  • Default Value: one month prior to the date the report is run
• BCS Parameter: filter_end_date (optional)
  • Possible Values: <date_value in the format MM/DD/YYYY>
  • Default Value: 'now', or the last successful database refresh

    Note: Default start and end dates will only be used if a date_filter_field value is entered and the date values are left blank.

Static Dates

For static dates, use the following parameters:

• BCS Parameter: filter_date_period (required)
  • Possible Values: 1 (Days), 2 (Weeks), 3 (Months), 4 (Years)
  • Default Value: 3
• BCS Parameter: filter_date_period_count (required)
  • Possible Values: valid numeric value with the following maximum value for each report_date_period:

    Months - 999

Filter to Date

The filter_to_date parameter allows you to include all activity up to the current date and time, regardless of the report_date_period chosen.

• BCS Parameter: filter_to_date (optional)
  • Possible Values: true or false
  • Default Value: true

• Description: Provides the ability to include subgroups within the scope of the report.
• Control Type: Single-select check box
• BCS Parameter: select_subgroups
  • Possible Values: 0 (don’t select), 1 (select)
  • Default Value: Don't select

• Description: Provides the ability to select one, many, or all users or groups as part of the filter criteria.
• Control Type: Multi-select
• BCS Parameter: user_list
  • Possible Values: CSV list of <username> values
  • Default Value: All
• BCS Parameter: group_list
  • Possible Values: CSV list of <group_orgcode> values
  • Default Value: All

    Note: In some templates the Group or the User filter may not be available. For instance, if the report is group specific then the user filter may be disabled.

• Description: Provides the ability to specify user statuses.

  • Possible Values: 1 (activated), 2 (deactivated)
  • Default Value: Activated

• Description:  Provides the ability to filter data based on user profile fields that have been configured and enabled on the User Profile page.
• Control Type:  Logical filter
• BCS Parameter: You cannot specify User Profile filters when running this report via BCS.

• Description: Provides the ability to include assets with no activity.
• Control Type: Single-select check box
• BCS Parameter: show_assets_with_no_activity
  • Possible Values: 0 (don’t show), 1 (show)

• Description: The total number of times that a book or video was viewed by all users.
• BCS Value: count_of_asset_session_launches

• Description: The title of the asset.
• BCS Value: asset_title

• Description: The title of the collection, for example, ITPro or BusinessPro.
• BCS Value: collection_title

• Description: The type of the asset.
• BCS Value: asset_category

• Description: The ID of the learning asset, for example, COMM0101.
• BCS Value: asset_name

• Description: The number of Chapters to Go files downloaded by the specified user during the specified time range.
• BCS Value: count_of_chapter_to_go_downloads

• Description: The total number of unique users accessing the book.
• BCS Value: count_of_distinct_books_users

• Description: The number of page views during the specified time range.
• BCS Value: course_page_count

• Description: The total number of downloads of MP4 video files, MP3 audio files, and static (non-Chapters to Go) PDFs.

• Description: The number of video files launched by users in the subscription(s) during the specified time range. Applies to subscriptions that include LDC only.

• Description: The description of the asset.

• Description: The expiration date of the video asset.

• Description: The ISBN for the title. For assets that do not have ISBN numbers, such as videos, this value is blank.

• Description: The date that the video was published to the SkillPort site.
