NASBA CPE Courses
Skillsoft is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA), as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. You can download a NASBA CPE certificate from your Activity page once you have completed all requirements associated with a NASBA eligible course.
If an administrator grants you a completion in the form of an admin override or waiver, you cannot receive NASBA CPE credit unless you first open the course, view all videos and take all knowledge checks and tests yourself.
- Select My Learning from the left navigation bar. Then, choose Learning Activity and select NASBA CPE.
- For items not yet meeting criteria, from Actions menu
, select Completion Requirements. - The NASBA CPE requirements display in a dialog box.
- Select Credits Expired to view the course expiration message. If you start a course and do not complete it within the year, the course expires and is no longer eligible for NASBA credit.
If you do not see a Download Certificate option from the Actions menu
either:
- Your site does not have this feature enabled. Contact your Site Admin for more information.
- You were granted a completion in the form of an admin override or waiver by an admin and are not eligible for a certificate. Open the course, view all videos and take all knowledge checks and tests yourself to be eligible for a NASBA CPE certificate.
To view the certificate:
- From the left navigation bar, select My Learning, then from the Your Recent Activity block, choose See all activity and select the NASBA CPE tab.
- From the Actions menu
, select Download Certificate.
The NASBA CPE certificate is downloaded as a PDF file. It displays your name, the name of the course, field of study, date of completion, the NASBA CPE training credit value, CPE program sponsor and id or registration number, and NASBA time statement.
- To print a certificate, open the downloaded PDF file.
- Click the Print button. The Print window displays.
- Verify the print setting, Scale: Fit to page is enabled.
- Click the Print button.
You can provide feedback by answering a four question survey accessed in one of two ways:
- When playing a course:
- Select the How to Complete link that displays in the title bar at the top of the course player.
- Within the pop up that displays, select NASBA Course Evaluation link to launch the survey.
- To view from the NASBA Activity page:
- From the left navigation bar, select My Learning.
- Choose Learning Activity and select NASBA CPE.
- Locate the course from the list, and from the Actions menu
select Completion Requirements. - Within the pop up that displays, select NASBA Course Evaluation link to launch the survey.

NASBA sponsors a variety of programs and services designed to enhance the effectiveness of its member boards. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website.
State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit, and Skillsoft’s CPE Registry sponsorship alone does not guarantee that its courses are valid for CPE credits in all states. It is important for learners to check with their state boards to confirm the board’s CPE requirements
Each course must be compliant at the time it is started. The course must be completed within one year of starting with a completion score of at least 70% on the final assessment.
All content offered by Skillsoft that has been approved for CPE credits are QAS Self-Study courses.
QAS Self-Study courses do not require any pre-work. However, some intermediate-level or advanced courses may have prerequisites, such as the completion of a specific course or prior knowledge and skills related to the topic, which are required before enrollment.

Many of the courses in the NASBA Information and Course List document have links to additional information. For example, this link shows details about where you can find the course in the library hierarchy, the outline of the course, and what you will learn.

If you are part of an enterprise agreement with Skillsoft, you can view NASBA courses on a particular topic using the Training credits search filter and specifying NASBA CPE.
You have several options for discovering and accessing content in the Skillsoft Percipio Platform. Alternatively, you can follow up directly with your internal Learning Administrator.
Navigate within a course with the AI Assistant. From the top navigation, select the AI Assistant icon. The AI Assistant opens in a new panel on the right side of the screen so it is always accessible while you are learning.
Additional course details can be found in the overview of the course. In the course player you will also have access the Resources which will contain the glossary and other relevant details.

Subscriptions to Skillsoft Product(s) are non-refundable. If you cancel your subscription it will expire at the end of your current billing cycle. (Found in section 2 of the license agreement section).

Every course comes with an index on the left side of the course player. The player will automatically move you through the course topics outlined in the course index. The AI assistant is available in the top right of the course player, to assist with any questions you may have during the course. The Resources section contains the glossary.
