New Features and Enhancements (February 2021)

Admins:

If you created and published an assignment in error, you now have the ability to cancel it for all learners.

Assignment reports or dashboards do not show canceled assignments.

To cancel assignments, from the Assignment page, locate the in progress assignment, and select Cancel for All from the Actions drop-down.

Learners:

Percipio automatically notifies learners when an assignment is canceled. Using either the web or mobile interface, learners can view and remove the canceled assignment from their Assignments lists.

• Canceled assignments emails: Learners receive an email notification when an admin cancels an assignment.
• Live course email confirmations: Now contain an *.ics file for adding the live course class dates and times to a learner's calendar.

• You now have the ability to update a user's password with a batch import. Use the new field, updatePassword.

• The mustResetPassword field no longer appears by default in the batch template when you choose Download Import Template. If you want to use this feature, you must manually add a column to the batch file.

• If you use the mustResetPassword field with the values of 1, TRUE, YES, or blank, users are forced to reset their password when they next sign in. To prevent existing users from having to reset their password, exclude this column from your batch CSV file.

You now have the ability to add a class with a past date. The class does not appear on the Live Course calendar and learners cannot register for it. Admins and instructors can register learners and complete the class giving credit to learners who attended.

To view hidden channels and journeys, from the Content menu, select Manage Hidden Content. The page that appears is still the same as when you selected Hidden Channels & Journeys, just the menu option name changed.

Previously, you were limited to uploading only 1 GB files. With this release, we increased the limit to 2 GB for hosted custom content files.

As part of the Skillsoft rebranding effort, Percipio interfaces and email notifications are now using an updated logo.

• Journey reports: The three journey reports, Journey Summary, Journey Summary by User, and Journey Detail by User, now contain a column called Journey Source which indicates whether the journey is custom or Skillsoft. Journey Source also appears as a filter option for these three reports.
• Assignment reports and dashboards: When an admin cancels an assignment, that assignment no longer appears in the following reports and dashboards:
  • Assignment summary
  • Assignment summary by user
  • Assignment detail by user
  • Assignment dashboard

As learners type in the search box, Percipio now prioritizes the list of suggestions based on common search queries used by other learners where they successfully found content to launch. This will help learners more quickly find relevant content related to their search.
