New Features and Enhancements as of June 3, 2025
Analytics Updates
The items in this section showcase changes to reports and dashboards to help you more effectively and efficiently manage your programs.

This release finds the following enhancements to reports and dashboards:
- Skills Activity dashboard: Now when you hide a channel that has activity within the date range, and that channel is the only one with activity in a skill area or subject, the skill area, subject, and channel no longer display on this dashboard. If other channels in the skill area or subject have activity and are not hidden, those show on the dashboard along with the associated skill areas and subjects. Previously, if you hid a channel that had activity within the filtered date range, the skill area, subject, and channel would display on the dashboard.
- Learner and Detailed Activity reports: When learners launch child assets using the standalone player, their duration will not be tracked against the parent course, enhancing the functionality of standalone assets within the LMS.
- All Journey reports: The content of the journey that shows in reports reflects the content in the current journey. If you updated a journey to remove older content and add new content, the older content no longer shows on the journey reports, only the new content.
New Settings
To help you better manage new features and enhancements that come out with this release, this section contains a summary of new settings that you can configure in Percipio.

With this new setting, all titles and descriptions for English areas, subjects, channels, and journeys are now translated into the corresponding site language surfacing content that learners previously could not see unless they switched to browse in English. This allows learners to browse and navigate the library hierarchy they are entitled to in their site language. With this setting, learners now see a lot more content options available to them.
When the learner navigates the translated library hierarchy, they see content in their native language prioritized in the list, but they will also see content in English. If the learner launches a Skillsoft English course, they can use the translated closed captions feature to understand the course in their preferred language.
The Unified Language Experience setting is on by default, except for Canadian Customers. When this setting is on, we recommend that you keep the translated closed captions setting on with all available languages selected so learners have the best experience. In addition, when using this setting, there is no longer a need to use the quick browse English toggle or the show English content settings. As a result, you can now find these two settings under the Unified Language Experience setting and can only enable them if the setting is off.
Coming in a future release, learners will see translations for the Skillsoft English course titles, descriptions, table of contents, knowledge checks, and course tests providing an even more localized experience.
For more details, please see Unified language experience.
Expanding skills of your workforce
The items in this section provide ways to grow your talent and fill critical skill gaps, building mastery with confidence.

You can now customize the search filter interface for your organization by choosing which filters to display and in what order. This new flexibility helps you guide learners to those filters that will reveal the content they need based on your organization’s standards and priorities.
By default, site and domain admins have access to the new Search filter settings. You can also grant permissions to custom roles that are based on the site admin role.
For more details, see Search Results Filters.
Manage, promote, and measure learning
The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content, promote learning, and measure learning effectiveness on your bottom line.

With the latest updates to Audience Management, you now see a table view listing all content associated with that audience instead of a stream of pill cards. This enhancement is designed to improve your workflow and provide a clearer view of content associations for an audience that you can sort and filter.
For more details, please see Edit audience content associations.
Usability Enhancements
The items in this section show where we are making improvements to the interface for a better experience.

This release finds the following enhancements to support non-English language learners to help them better understand and engage with course content in their preferred language:
- Translated closed captions are now offered in Kannada (kn-IN).
- Ukrainian is now offered as a Percipio site language so you can add custom content in that language and interact with Role Advisor and AI Assistant in Ukrainian.
- Role Advisor is now available in all Percipio site languages.
For more information, see Setting your language.

With this latest release, CAISY is now available in the following languages:
- Chinese (Taiwanese)
- Philipino (fil)
- Burmese (my-MM)
- Lebanese (ar-LB)
- Georgian (ka-GE)
- Kannada (kn-IN)
- Ukrainian (uk-UA)
Because Percipio does not yet support these languages (except Ukrainian with this release), learners will have to launch CAISY in a different language and then switch to their preferred language.

With this latest release, Percipio no longer supports Chinese (Cantonese) which is a spoken dialect and not a written language. CAISY still supports Chinese (Cantonese).
AI Updates
The items in this section highlight changes to AI elements in Percipio so you can stay in compliance with your internal processes.

We are now targeting to update our AI conversation models for CAISY and AI Assistant on June 23, 2025 and AI-assisted search on June 9. Learners are not likely to notice any changes when interacting with any of these features.
This update is part of our commitment to staying current with the latest advancements in AI technology, ensuring that we continue to provide you with the best possible security and user experience. If you require additional information, please reach out to your Skillsoft account team.
