New Features and Enhancements as of September 9, 2025
AI Updates
The items in this section highlight changes to AI elements in Percipio so you can stay in compliance with your internal processes.

To ensure CAISY and the AI Assistant deliver the best experience while meeting the latest security standards, we will be upgrading our AI guard models on September 12, 2025. Learners are unlikely to notice any changes when interacting with either feature.
We want to keep you informed about the updates for any internal processes you may have that needs this information. If you require additional information, please reach out to your Skillsoft account team.
Analytics Updates
The items in this section showcase changes to reports and dashboards to help you more effectively and efficiently manage your programs.

Under the Asset Type filter for the Detailed Activity report, you see a new option called: Course Child Content. When you select this filter option, also select a new column from the Column tab called Child Content. With the filter and new column selected, any video or module that a learner views while in a course shows as a separate line item in the report. The Asset Type column for the child content shows either as Video or Module, and the new Child Content column shows a value of Y, indicating that the learner launched it from within the course.
In addition, now, if you select the Asset Type filter options of Video or Module, you only see items in the report that learners launched as standalone items, that is, they launched them outside of the associated course. These items launched as stand alone would have a value of N in the Child Content column indicating that they were not launched as part of a course.
This enhancement helps you compare information between the Executive report and the Detailed Activity report.
Expanding skills of your workforce
The items in this section provide ways to grow your talent and fill critical skill gaps, building mastery with confidence.

To help users get the information they need quickly, the AI Assistant now provides follow-on prompts after providing a response to help speed up and guide the conversation. The user can either select a follow-on prompt or enter something different to continue the conversation.
Follow-on prompts are not recorded as part of the conversation and users cannot refer back to them after the next response from the AI Assistant.
Engaging your learners to build a learning culture
The items in this section provide ways to engage your users so they want to learn and make learning a habit.

The setting that allows learners to control if their name shows on leaderboards, now also includes the ability to display their profile picture if they added one to their profile. This setting is on by default.
If learners previously chose not to display their name on leaderboards, their profile picture also does not display. If learners kept the setting on to display their name, and they added a profile picture, the profile picture now also displays on the leaderboard.
Learners can choose to hide their name and picture from leaderboards by going to My Settings > Leaderboard.

Usability Enhancements
The items in this section show where we are making improvements to the interface for a better experience.

To improve the user experience when interacting with CAISY, this release finds the following two enhancements when learners use CAISY in the voice-only mode:
-
Learners must now select Start scenario to enable the microphone giving them a chance to make any adjustments and ready themselves before beginning.
-
Now, after each AI response in voice-only mode, a natural pause of 1-2 seconds occurs before the learner’s microphone is reactivated. This pause simulates natural conversational flow, shorter for brief responses, slightly longer for longer or complex ones, giving the learner a chance to listen and respond thoughtfully.

If a learner has their Percipio site language set to something other than English US, the option for Practice Labs may not show in the left navigation if no labs are available in that language.

When a learner wants to view their Digital Badges from the associated Accredible site, they now see an option to view details about changing their privacy settings. This ensures that they know when their badges are public or private and what that means.
