Update Content

You can upload all types of updated content, including Passive, AICC, SCORM, SCORM 1.2 RTE, SCORM 2004, SkillStudio, and Dialogue Design.

Caution: Failure to follow the guidelines outlined in the Important Notes About Updating, will very likely result in courses that no longer play.

To update course content

Read Important Notes About Updating before uploading an updated course.
Upload your course content. For details on how to upload, refer to Uploading Content.
Once you have uploaded the updated course, one of the following messages displays:
If you are updating a KnowledgeCenter or Skillsoft Leadership Advantage package, the following message displays (with the appropriate course type listed):
If you are publishing an update for a course that already exists on the publishing site, the following message displays:
Select the desired option:
<preview site>: Publish the course that is on your preview site.
- Preview sites are only available if they have been enabled by your administrator.
<production site>: Publish the course that is on your production site.
Local (Desktop): Publish the course that is on your local desktop.
- If the following message displays for either package type, abort the publish and change the package ID.
Click OK.
The Publisher completes the rest of the upload process.
