Outcomes and Results

You’ve launched your coaching engagement – now it’s time to make sure your stakeholders see the value. Here’s how you can gather the right data and share meaningful insights to showcase success:

Demonstrating ROI

  1. Track the right metrics: the Enterprise Dashboard organizes learner data into three key sections:
    1. Engagement Metrics
    2. Engagement Survey
    3. Assessment Results
Each section provides valuable insights to help you assess the impact of the coaching program. To learn more about the metrics listed in each section, jump to the Enterprise Dashboard page on Impact.
  2. Attend Client Business Reviews (CBRs) with your CSM—these regular check-ins provide insights into program progress, celebrate successes, and address any challenges.
  3. Schedule Organization Impact Meetings with your CSM to review progress, discuss the program’s impact on your organization, and explore opportunities for further development.

Track Progress

Tracking progress keeps your program on track and highlights where extra support might be needed.

Use the Enterprise Dashboard to keep an eye on progress and address any concerns early, ensuring learners and coaches stay on course.

How to track progress effectively:

  • Engagement Trends: A sudden decrease in any of these metrics could signal disengagement and the need for intervention.
    • Completed sessions
    • Resources viewed
    • Messages exchanged
  • Learner Feedback: Low satisfaction scores may indicate the need for adjustments.
    • Session Rating
    • Net Promoter Score
  • Goal Progress: Determine the progress of short and long term goals and whether these need to be addressed with the learner.
    • Goal remeasurement

Coaching programs thrive with consistent attention and focus. Tackling common challenges early helps keep momentum strong and learners on track.

Celebrate the Wins

Everybody loves a success story.

How to Celebrate Successes:

  • Highlight Data-Drive Successes: Showcase key milestones, like completing sessions or making measurable progress in productivity, leadership, or team performance. Use data to demonstrate the program’s impact with clear, tangible results.
  • Share Personal Wins: Share personal stories of success. For example, “Sarah mentioned she feels more confident in team meetings after just a few coaching sessions.” Recognize those small, personal victories, like someone successfully applying a new skill or overcoming a challenge.
  • Keep Stakeholders in the Loop: Regularly communicate wins to stakeholders and managers to showcase the value of the program. Use email newsletters, team meetings, or presentations to highlight both data and personal stories that demonstrate the coaching program’s impact.
  • Shout it from the Rooftops: Recognize achievements during team meetings, on internal platforms, or through email shout-outs. Public recognition encourages others and reinforces the importance of progress.

Acknowledge and celebrate the progress learners are making, reinforcing their growth and motivating them to keep going.
