User Welcome Notice

Sends a welcome message to new learners that includes the login URL for the site, their username and password, and contact information for customer support.

You can customize the content of the message to provide learners with information specific to your organization such as how to contact their training administrator.

Note: In order to receive emails, a user's profile must include an email address, and have the Send Emails option set to yes on the Edit User Information page.

Placeholders allow you to have emails with dynamically generated values. Values for the placeholders are generated at the time the email is sent.

To insert placeholders and have them work properly, you must select them from the drop down list. If you type the square brackets ([ ]) and tilde (~), the email notification will not render properly, leaving users with missing information.

Default:

  • Login URL: The URL to your training site. Value for the login URL is set on the Setup page.
  • No other data options are available.

Optional:

  • Company name: the name of your organization
  • Learner Name: the learner’s name
  • Userid:id of the user

Default: Sent to new users the night after their account is created. When this email is activated, the system checks all users added to the site within the last 60 days and sends the email to anyone that did not receive one.

You cannot edit the distribution list.

Default frequency: every day.

You cannot modify the frequency.
