Known Issues
In order to install the SCM, Windows Vista / IE7 users must either diable Protected Mode or add the Skillport.com domain as a trusted Internet site.
When installing SCM by web installer in Vista via applet, it writes some information to the user machine prompting users with a dialog asking them to authorize the changes. Users must press Allow on the dialog to continue the installation.
When starting the SCM as an admin (normal admin) user, the user is prompted with a dialog asking them to authorize changes. Apparently, this is a consequence of Vista’s consent policy for Admin users. The dialog does not appear for normal, non-admin users. For admin users, it can be disabled but only by changing the admin group’s consent policy. User has to press allow on the dialog to continue using SCM.
Note: Launch SCM means: open SCM, uninstall SCM and open Proxy Configuration.
