Synchronize Offline Course Results

If you play a downloaded or CD-ROM course in the SCM, your results are saved in the SCM. You can later synchronize your local results with SkillPort or with a learning management system (LMS) that supports Skillsoft results synchronization. The procedures available are dependent on your LMS and SCM configuration. Newer results in SkillPort also synchronize into the local SCM. After you have synchronized your results, your latest results appear in both the SCM and SkillPort.

Note: If you want to use the results synchronization feature, you must use the same User ID when you download the course, play the course in the SCM, and log in to SkillPort.

To synchronize your offline course results

For SkillPort 7.3

To synchronize your offline course results, do one of the following:

1. Ensure that you have an internet connection.
2. Log in to SCM.

   This automatically connects SCM to SkillPort and synchronizes your progress data.

OR

1. Log in to SkillPort.
2. Navigate to your MY PROGRESS, and click the Sync Offline Progress link.

   The SCM launches and connects to SkillPort, synchronizing your progress data.

For all other SkillPort versions

1. Ensure that you have an internet connection.
2. Log in to SkillPort.

   Your offline course results are automatically synchronized.
