Uninstalling the SCM

Make sure to close any open browser windows before uninstalling SCM. Otherwise, all the files may not get removed from your machine.

To uninstall the SCM on the Windows Platform

1. Select Start > Programs > Skillsoft > Uninstall.

   A message displays stating that the SCM and course content are about to be removed.

2. Click OK to uninstall the SCM, or click Cancel to stop the uninstall.

   If the __skillsoftLoaded.jar file cannot be deleted, a message will be displayed asking you to close any programs such as web browses that maybe using the __skillsoftLoaded.jar file and to then continue with the uninstall.

To uninstall the SCM on the Macintosh Platform

1. Select Users > <User> > Applications > Skillsoft folder.
2. Run the Uninstall application.
3. Click OK to uninstall the SCM, or click Cancel to stop the uninstall.
