Pasting a Topic Across Presentations

If you have multiple presentations open, you can cut or copy a Topic and paste it across the presentations.

Note: Topics with mobile slides (.mprs) cannot be pasted into presentation files (.prs), and vice versa.

To copy/cut and paste a Topic across multiple presentations

1. In the Presentation Layout pane, select the Topic to be copied.
2. Do one of the following:
   • Click Edit > Copy on the menu, or right-click the Topic and select Copy from the drop-down menu.
   • Click Edit > Cut on the menu, or right-click the Topic and select Cut from the drop-down menu.

   This copies and removes the selected Topic from the Presentation Layout pane.

3. Click Edit > Paste on the menu, or click on the toolbar.

   The Topic is added as the first Topic by default. If a particular Topic was selected when the copied/cut Topic was pasted, the new Topic is added below the selected Topic.
