Adding a Hyperlink
To add a hyperlink in a slide
- Open an existing presentation or import a new PowerPoint presentation.
- In the Presentation Layout pane, select the slide you want to add the hyperlink to.
The slide displays in the right pane.
- Select the text or object where you want to add the hyperlink.
- Click Insert > Links > Hyperlink on the menu in the right pane.
- In the Insert Hyperlink dialog box:
- Enter the hyperlink text in the Text to display field.
- Browse to and select the file you want to link to.
- Click OK.
- Save the presentation.
- Publish the course.
When you launch the course and click the hyperlink in the slide, a pop-up message displays asking if you want to open or save the file.
