Adding a Hyperlink

To add a hyperlink in a slide

  1. Open an existing presentation or import a new PowerPoint presentation.
  2. In the Presentation Layout pane, select the slide you want to add the hyperlink to.

    The slide displays in the right pane.

  3. Select the text or object where you want to add the hyperlink.
  4. Click Insert > Links > Hyperlink on the menu in the right pane.
  5. In the Insert Hyperlink dialog box:
    1. Enter the hyperlink text in the Text to display field.
    2. Browse to and select the file you want to link to.
    3. Click OK.
  6. Save the presentation.
  7. Publish the course.

When you launch the course and click the hyperlink in the slide, a pop-up message displays asking if you want to open or save the file.
