Saving Presentations

To save a new presentation

  1. Click File > Save on the menu, or click on the toolbar.

    The Save Presentation As dialog box displays.

  2. Browse to the location where you want to save the presentation file.
  3. In File name, specify a name for the presentation.

    Note: Presentations are saved with the file extension appropriate to the file type (.prs for presentations and courses and .mprs for mobile presentations). You do not have to specify the file name extension. You can save presentation and course content of more than 2GB in both .prs and .mprs files.

  4. Click Save.

    The currently active presentation is saved in the specified location with the specified file name. The presentation remains open for editing.

To save changes to an existing presentation

To save all open presentations with unsaved changes

To save a copy of the currently open presentation

  1. Click File > Save As on the menu.

    The Save Presentation As dialog box displays.

  2. Browse to the location where you want to save the presentation file.
  3. In File name, specify a name for the presentation.

    Note: Presentations are saved with the file extension appropriate to the file type (.prs for presentations and courses and .mprs for mobile presentations). You do not have to specify the file name extension.

  4. Click Save.

    The current presentation is saved at the specified location with the specified file name. The presentation remains open for editing.
