Copy and Paste Slides

You can copy images, PowerPoint presentations, and Dialogue Design slides to the Clipboard and paste them in Dialogue Design.

Note:

To copy and paste an image or PowerPoint presentation into Dialogue Design

  1. In the Presentation Layout pane, select the Topic or Sub-folder that the asset should belong to.
  2. Click Edit > Paste on the menu, or click on the toolbar.

    The PowerPoint presentation or the image is added as the first slide(s) in the Topic or Sub-folder. If a slide was selected when the image or presentation was pasted, the new slide(s) is added below the selected slide.

To copy and paste a slide(s)

  1. In the Presentation Layout pane, select the slide(s) to be copied.
  2. Click Edit > Copy on the menu, or right-click the slide and select Copy.
  3. Click Edit > Paste on the menu, or click in the toolbar.

    The slide(s) will be added as the first slide(s) in the Topic or Sub-folder. If a slide was selected when the copied slide was pasted, the new slide(s) will be added below the selected slide.

To cut and paste a slide(s)

  1. In the Presentation Layout pane, select the slide(s) to be cut.
  2. Click Edit > Cut on the menu, or right-click the slide and select Cut. This will copy and remove the selected slide from Presentation Layout pane.
  3. Click Edit > Paste, or click in the toolbar.

    The slide(s) will be added as the first slide(s) in the Topic or Sub-folder. If a slide was selected when the cut slide was pasted, the new slide(s) will be added below the selected slide.

    Note: Dialogue Design slides can be pasted only if they were cut or copied during the current Dialogue Design session. If you copy multiple slides, the slides are pasted to the target location one below the other, in the order in which they appear in the presentation, which may not necessarily be the order in which they were selected. The target location can be in a different presentation found in a different tab in Dialogue Design.
