Recording Applications

To record applications

1. Click New Slide > Record Applications on the menu. Or, click on the toolbar.

   The Dialogue Recorder icon displays in the Taskbar and the Recorder - Select Window for Capture dialog box displays.

   Note: Dialogue Recorder supports Flash version 7.0 or later.

2. Select one of the following options:
   • Capture Application: Select this option to select an application you want to capture from a list of open applications. To capture only the content area, select the Capture Content Area Only option. To capture the entire application interface, clear the Capture Content Area Only option.
   • Capture Desktop: Select this option to capture all content that is on the desktop. This is the default option.
   • Custom Area: Select this option to capture a particular area of the desktop or application. You have to specify the area to capture.
3. Click OK.

   The Dialogue Recorder starts recording. A red button displays in the taskbar to indicate that recording is in progress.

   If necessary, you can pause and restart the recording at any time by selecting Pause/Restart from the right-click menu.

4. To stop recording, do one of the following:
   • Double-click on the Dialogue Recorder icon in the taskbar.
   • Right-click on the Dialogue Recorder icon and select Start/Stop Recording from the menu.
   • Press CTRL+SHIFT+PRINT SCREEN.
5. If necessary, save the recording by selecting Save from the right-click menu.
