Asset pools allow you to attach supplementary assets to presentations. This is a useful way to include additional reference material. All assets in an asset pool must reside in a single folder. These assets can be Flash movies or other types of content such as Word documents. In order to add assets other than Flash movies, however, you must create a Flash movie with hyperlinks to all such assets in the folder. Once an asset pool is imported, you can add Flash movies to the presentation as slides.
When a presentation is played back in the Skillsoft Course Player, if a Flash movie contains hyperlinks to other assets, those assets will display in a separate browser window. Flash content gets played back within the Skillsoft Course Player window.
