Request and Manage Assessment Feedback
If your organization has it enabled, you can request feedback from your managers and/or colleagues. Note, you can only invite people within your organization's email domain. When you invite someone to give you feedback, they answer the same questions you saw during your self assessment. This allows you to gain insights into what others view as your strengths. You can request feedback once a year after you complete your self assessment.
Request feedback
To request feedback:
- From the left navigation, select Insights, then Request feedback.
- On the Initial feedback request (Yearly) tab, you can invite managers and/or colleagues. Note, your organization may only allow you to invite managers. If your organization allows you to invite colleagues as well as managers, you see the minimum number of colleagues you must invite. Depending on the settings configured by your organization, managers may or may not count towards this minimum. You can only send the feedback request if you meet the minimum requirement. This minimum helps ensure the anonymity of your colleagues' feedback.
- You can add people in one of two ways:
- Enter the name, email, and relationship of the person you are requesting feedback from. Select Add another person to continue adding colleagues or managers to give you feedback.
- Select Upload CSV. Download the CSV template and complete all necessary information about the people you are requesting feedback from. Upload the CSV.
- Once you have invited everyone you would like, select Send feedback request. The people you invited receive an email with a link to the feedback assessment.
- When someone submits feedback, you receive an email alerting you to log into AI Coach to view new feedback.
Manage feedback
Once you request feedback from managers or colleagues, you can keep track of how many people have responded or edit your list of requested colleagues.
To manage feedback, from the left navigation, select Insights, then Manage feedback. You can not see which colleagues have responded, however you can see how many colleagues have responded.
You can make any of the following edits to your list of requested colleagues:
- If you need to change the name or relationship of any colleagues in your list, select the Edit icon
. - If you need to change the email of someone in the list, you must delete them and add them as a new person.
- To delete someone from your list, select the Delete icon
. - To add another colleague to your list, select Add new colleague. If all of your current requested colleagues have submitted responses already, you must invite the minimum number of colleagues as before. If you are still waiting for feedback from one or more colleagues, you can invite less than the minimum number of colleagues.
View feedback results
To view the results from your self assessment and from your colleagues' feedback assessments, from the left navigation, select Insights, then View results. Here you can see how you ranked yourself on the different areas of the self assessment, and how others rated you. Manager and colleague data populates as those people submit their feedback.
Depending on the settings configured by your organization, data on this page may appear differently:
- You only see fields for those people you are allowed to invite. If your organization does not allow you to invite either colleagues or managers, fields for those people do not display on this page.
- If you can request manager and colleague feedback, your organization may choose to have manager feedback show separately, or combined with other colleague feedback.
You see four different tabs for the four different topics on the assessment:
In the Strengths tab, you see the results to the multiple choice question: Which of your strengths stand out most in having a positive impact on the team or organization? You see a list of all skills you had to choose from. The skills you chose are marked with a star in the SELF column. Depending on the settings configured by your organization, you may see one or both of the following additional columns:
- COLLEAGUES: In this column you see the number of colleagues that responded that chose that skill as one of your strengths.
- MANAGER(S): In this column, skills your manager chose are marked with a diamond.
The top section in the Collaboration tab shows the results to the rating question: How effective do you feel you are with building collaboration and trust with others? You see a bar chart with the percent of people that chose each rating. This includes you, your colleagues and your managers' responses (if applicable).
In the Average rater comparison section, you see the average rating of this question across the three groups: Self, Manager(s), Colleagues.
