New Features and Enhancements (as of August 13, 2022)

The list of new features and enhancements is organized according to the themes in our Skillsoft Platform development roadmap.
Note: Updates to the Skillsoft Percipio mobile app typically release within 5 days of the Skillsoft Platform release.

Ecosystems and Integrations

The items in this section help you to integrate the Skillsoft Platform across your learning ecosystem and promote how Skillsoft works with its partners.

As part of an ongoing initiative to streamline the library experience in Compliance, you now have only four Delivery Methods to choose from instead of 14 when you include custom content that is not web-based training (WBT). The four options are: Offline (OLT), Classroom (CR), HTML Link (LNK), and Other (OTR). All other values will be deprecated and merged to Other.

You may have custom user attributes in the platform that store thousands of values, such as a hire date or employee ID. These attributes and their values get synchronized to Percipio Compliance. Many areas of Percipio Compliance — Reports, Email notifications, Exemption, Equivalency, and Assign Completions — store these attribute values as filter options in drop-down lists. When a drop-down list tries to render thousands of values, pages cannot load.

To exclude an attribute from page filters within Percipio Compliance:

  1. From the Audience menu, select Attributes.
  2. On the Define Demographics page, select Exclude from filter lists next to each user attribute that you want to exclude.
  3. Select Update to save your changes. When attributes with thousands of values are excluded, admin pages should load successfully.

Usability Enhancements

The items in this section show where we are making improvements to the interface for a better experience.

On the Custom Channels and Custom Journeys pages, you now see a new column, Created by. This column displays who created the channel or journey. You can filter on this column to see all the activity of one person.
