Send a Reminder Email
You can configure a cohort to receive automatic email reminders throughout the life of the program on a weekly or every other week basis. However, there may be times when you want to send a more immediate reminder, for example, when the program is due within the next few days.
Any Admin role with the Manage Program privilege cans can send reminders to any cohort from a learning program.
You can't send reminders to cohorts that are in a Scheduled status.
To send an immediate email for a program:
- From the left navigation bar, select Learning > Learning Programs. The Learning Programs page displays.
- Locate the cohort in learning program that you wish to receive the email.
- Select the actions menu and then select Send a reminder.
- When the dialog box displays, you must make a decision if you want to:
Resend reminder email to X learners who have not yet completed: This option sends a reminder to all learners in a cohort who have not yet completed the program, including learners who have enrolled but have not started and learners who have been invited but not enrolled. Learners receive the reminder email and any customizations you made to it. If you do not want to send to all learners, you can send to one of the following:
Resend invitation email to X learners who have not yet enrolled: This option displays if the learning program is optional for the cohort. Learners receive the invitation email and any customizations you made to it.
Send a reminder email to X learners who enrolled but haven’t started: This option displays if the learning program is required for the cohort. Learners receive the reminder email and any customizations you made to it.
Send a reminder message to your shared collaboration space: This option displays if you configured a social platform and added an associated email address so the space could receive emails. Learners see the reminder message and any customizations you made to it.
- To send the reminder email, select Send now, otherwise cancel. The email is sent immediately.
