Content Safelist Requirements
Percipio supports both Skillsoft-developed content and partner content within the platform. Skillsoft-developed content is hosted on and delivered through Percipio, while partner content is hosted by and delivered through each content provider.
To ensure all the content you licensed plays as expected, we provided a detailed safelist.
Skillsoft Content Requirements
Skillsoft makes extensive use of Content Delivery Networks (CDN). Using a CDN provides our customers all over the world with the best possible content experience by offering a cached copy of content assets from a location geographically closer to users than our primary data center in the United States. However, this makes it impossible to provide IP address ranges that cover all the possible locations of these servers.
In addition, Skillsoft tries to declare all fully qualified domain names (FQDNs) used in our hosted solutions. We may introduce new FQDNs under the *.percipio.com domain at any point without notification. If you rely on safelisting to allow access to Skillsoft’s Percipio solution, we recommend using the *.percipio.com domain level to minimize the opportunity for unexpected disruptions.

Selected Open Resources content requirements
The Selected Open Resources collection is provided as a free add-on to Skillsoft collections. Items within the Selected Open Resources collection originate from providers such as Microsoft Learn, AWS, Zoom, Smartsheet, Adobe, YouTube, and many others. If you regularly restrict access to such sites, you can request to hide all Select Open Resources content, or ask about removing a specific provider's content. Please contact your Skillsoft account team for more information about specific providers or to hide the entire collection.
For a detailed list of all providers and their websites:
- From the Content menu in the left navigation bar, select Content Reports.
- Download the All Content Listing by Collection report.
- Sort by the Collection column. Find the items labeled withSelected Open Resources.
- The URLs listed in the External link column are the ones to be safelisted.
