Engaging your learners to build a learning culture

The items in this section provide ways to engage your users so they want to learn and make learning a habit.

Coming soon, Learn Together, an exciting social learning feature, will enable collaborative learning by allowing learners to recommend content for group participation, set completion dates, and track each other’s progress. This fosters a supportive learning environment where they can have discussions via social channels and celebrate milestones. Learning together in a group is more enjoyable and enhances retention and skill application.

In this release, you will see a new setting under Engagement & Notifications > Social Learning called Learn Together. This setting will be on by default. The Learn Together feature will be available to your learners in an upcoming release.

Coming soon, to allow learners to better track their learning, they will be able to add notes and highlight text in books and book summaries. Learners will also be able to view their notes on a new Notes tab when in the book and on the Notes and Reflections page.

You can manage access to this feature with the existing Site features setting, Allow learners to use Notes and Reflections. The setting is on by default.

When learners launch a Skillsoft course, they may see relevant CAISY™ AI Simulations in the You might also like section as recommendations for follow up content.

Manage, promote, and measure learning

The items in this section provide the tools you need to manage users and content, promote learning, and measure learning effectiveness on your bottom line.

To make it easier to access GK live courses, learners now have the convenience of joining the courses directly from Percipio.

To make it easier to find a specific assignment, the assignment UUID is now included on these reports:

Usability Enhancements

The items in this section show where we are making improvements to the interface for a better experience.

To improve the Percipio app for Microsoft Teams experience, learners now have the option to change their preferred language in the Chat tab. The chat responses and all content recommendations are now based on the selected language.

To ensure a consistent learning experience, when a learner updates their language in the Chat tab, it updates their preferred language in Percipio as well.

You can now use the image gallery to select a Skillsoft-supplied image when creating custom content for:

Previously if you tried to find an older book, even using its exact title, search results would not elevate it to the top of the list. Now, when you do a book title search even for older books, you see it near the top of your search results.
