Review Requirements and Recommendations

Prior to the initial meeting that begins the process, please ensure you meet the requirements and review the recommendations.

Requirements

• Your Cornerstone portal cannot have any existing Percipio content. If your Cornerstone portal has existing Percipio content, content disablement is required. You typically do this through the Materials interface.
• Cornerstone LMS cannot have an existing, data-feed based integration with Percipio. Reach out to both Cornerstone’s Global Product Support team and your Skillsoft team to disable the existing integration before starting the API-based integration.
• Access to Cornerstone Edge Marketplace.

Recommendations

Cornerstone LMS stage environment

Used for testing both the deployment of assets and tracking. If one is not available, testing will be done in your production environment.

Cornerstone LMS as the SAML SSO Identity Provider (IdP)

This option ensures that the user identifiers align between Percipio and Cornerstone LMS. This is the only option available when using Edge Marketplace.

If you choose to use your own SAML IdP, you will need to verify that it can supply a Cornerstone LMS user identifier. You also need to consult with Cornerstone LMS Professional Services for assistance because this option is not supported by Edge Marketplace.

All Percipio users also have a Cornerstone LMS account

This ensures consistent tracking back to Cornerstone LMS.
