Bug Fixes

Batch Add/Update

  • The Batch Add/Update process no longer encounters a fatal database error. (CR 166562)
  • The Batch Add/Import process no longer encounters intermittent fatal database errors. (CR 170561)

Books/Courses/Videos

  • Video transcripts now download properly and no longer give the following error message: Error while downloading file. Please contact administrator. (CR 162329)
  • Accessing a Skillsoft Advantage asset via SSO and attempting to launch an asset no longer displays an error. (CR 169903)
  • Learners can now re-enroll in Live Learning Courses. (CR 170167)
  • Videos are no longer causing search issues in Skillport. (CR 170954)

Configuration

  • Customizations to the login text for username and password are now saving. (CR 168285)

Display

  • After signing in via SSO, learners no longer see the error: Empty input parameter. See logs for suggestions. (CR 166360)
  • The text in the disclaimer message on the login page is now always visible. (CR 167379)
  • Featured Topics are no longer being duplicated. (CR 169536)

Evaluations

  • On some evaluation sites, admins are unable to see all courses that are linked to Evaluations. (CR 169542)

Instructor Led Training (ILT)

  • You can now batch add ILT sessions with multiple scheduled meetings by adding the session rows twice and changing the start and end times. (CR 166847)
  • When using the advanced search option in the ILT Course and Session Manager, only the User Name, Group Name, and First Name fields display. (CR 167377)
  • Learners enrolled in an ILT course can now see the sessions when inspecting the course. (CR 166121, 166309)
  • ILT sessions closed for enrollment no longer display under Available Sessions. (CR 170249)

Learner Transcripts and Course Completions

  • External Learning Events created prior to the Skillport 8 upgrade no longer show a completion status of N/A and now appear in the Learning Transcript. (CR 166418)
  • The Actions drop down is no longer missing from the Learner Transcript. (CR 168428)
  • Learners are no longer prompted to complete optional evaluations when completing a course. (CR 169760)

Learning Plan

  • After upgrading to Skillport 8, custom folders in the Learning Plan can now be deleted. (CR 167437)
  • The due dates for some recurring Learning Plan Assignments are no longer incorrect when viewed in the learner's View Learning Plan page. (CR 165461)
  • Moving an asset in the Personal Learning Plan now persists. (CR 166426)
  • Inherited courses are now showing in the Learner's Learning Plan. (CR 168027)
  • Sets in the Personal Learning tab now display in the same order as those in the Manage Sets tab. (CR 168295)
  • Learning Plan Reminder emails no longer contain "{Goal}" text instead of the actual goal. (CR 168542)
  • Learners can now see direct or inherited Learning Plan assignments if the content is contained in a folder. (CR 169210)

Learning Programs

  • Mandatory Learning Programs can now be located and assigned. (CR 165607&
  • All courses within Learning Programs now launch. (CR 168220)
  • Attempting to launch a course from the Learning Program no longer fails. (CR 168962)
  • Learners can now access the first course in a Learning Program from the Learning Program or their Learning Plan. (CR 169229)

Library

  • When viewed from the Administrator page, the folders in the Library now contain content. (CR 168762)
  • When using the Refine by filter, an application error no longer displays. (CR 168009)
  • Searching with the term, "communication," no longer produces an error. (CR 170421)

Mobile

  • Accessing a folder under My Feed no longer produces an error. (CR 165519)

Notifications

  • Learning Plan notification templates no longer include the variable {goal} instead of {note}. (CR 168170)
  • The new user registration email no longer includes "Go to: {Skillport URL}" instead of the actual URL. (CR 169051)
  • Some emails are no longer being sent to users in subgroups when assigning content to the Learning Plan and opting to send a notification. The email goes only to users in the parent group. Emails are sent as expected when assigning content to individuals instead of groups. (CR 169821)

Reporting

  • The User Listing Detailed by User report now returns data in the Group Path field. (CR 164842)
  • An ILT course no longer shows as complete in the Learning Transcript, and then incomplete in the Learning Activity report. (CR 166117)
  • Now all custom user profile fields display in the User Listing Detailed by User report. (CR 167385)
  • Custom User Profile fields are now displaying in reports. (CR 167536)
  • Course duration for the same course and same user is no longer steadily declining in each weekly report, when the date range for the report remains the same. (CR 167730)
  • Reports are no longer failing with the error message: Error Rendering Result Data: Report processing has been canceled by the user. (CR 168852)
  • The Manage Import folder is no longer missing from report templates. (CR 169121, 170487)
  • Enrollment Status for a course no longer shows as Enrolled instead of Complete, which caused inconsistent numbers in the Learning Plan User MyPlan report. (CR 169226)
  • Reports no longer display a completion date that is later than the last access date. (CR 169530)
  • Attempting to run the Most Popular Titles report no longer results in the error: Error Rendering Result Data: Report processing has been canceled by the user. (Report processing has been canceled by the user.) (CR 169888)
  • The My Plan Report no longer takes a long time to process and no longer errors out. (CR 170099)
  • A custom field designated as a text field is no longer acting as a Select list in Reporting. (CR 170175)

Users and Groups

  • Users in specific assignment groups (and possibly others) are now inheriting Learning Plan assignments as expected, even after the group is removed and rebuilt. (CRs 169807, 169883)
  • Attempting to select the Catalog Assignment for a sub-group no longer produces the error: Application has encountered an error. (CR 168839)
  • When manually adding a new user, clicking Save no longer produces the error: Mapping is not available for this action. (CR 168460)
  • When waiving a course from within the Enrollments and Waivers tab, pasting too much text in the Enter reason for the waiver field no longer disables the OK button. (CR 168552)

OLSA/BCS

  • The SL_FederatedSearch web service occasionally does not complete (or times out) when attempting to perform a search. (CR 168471)
  • A time zone discrepancy between BCS reporting and Skillport reporting no longer causes inconsistent data. (CR 168849)
  • BCS reports no longer fail and produce the error message: Error Rendering Result Data: Report processing has been canceled by the user. (Report processing has been canceled by the user.) (CR 169525)
