My Profile

To ensure the best possible Skillport experience, update your profile with your personal information and set your preferred content and site languages. You can also modify your Community profile, view all the notes you've written for your learning content, change your password, and set your security questions.

To edit your profile

1. Click My Profile at the top of any Skillport page.

   Your profile displays.

2. Click Edit.

   The Edit Profile page displays.

3. Edit your personal information.
   • First Name: Your first name.
   • Last Name: Your last name.
   • Email Address: Your email address.
   • Display First Name: Your first name as it appears to you and others in Skillport.
   • Display Last Name: Your last name as it appears to you and others in Skillport.
   • Location: Your geographic location (for example, where your office or branch is located).
   • Profile Image: This must be a JPEG, GIF or PNG image that is no larger than 5 megabytes; uploaded images are automatically resized to 100 pixels x 110 pixels.

     Note: You cannot upload images from a tablet. If you do not upload an image, or if you delete an existing one, the following image is used in its place:

   • { custom field }: Your organization may have added one or more custom fields.
4. On the left panel, you can:
   • View all your notes in the My Notes section.
   • Edit your Community profile.
   • Set your Language preferences for both your site and your learning content.

     Note: Selecting additional content languages on the Languages page creates a defined list of languages for you to select from when searching Skillport or browsing the Skillport Library.

   • Change your password and set security questions in the Security section.
5. Click Update.
