Timeline Window

Use the Timeline window to set parameters related to stages of animations. These parameters, which are defined within the Graphics Container, give you the ability to:

• View animation information
• Set the acceleration of an animation
• Toggle the visibility of animation stages
• Access the timeline for the page

Note: You can move the Timeline window around, as it is free-floating, or click X to close it. You can re-open it by clicking View>Show Window>Timeline.

There are three sections to the Timeline window:

Graphics List

This contains a list of all non-background graphics on the page. You can:

• Click a graphic's name to activate it.
• Lock or unlock a graphic using the dot to the right of the file name.
• Click the eye to remove that graphic from view on the Graphics tab.
• Right-click a graphic name to lock or hide all other graphics, add or remove an effect, or replace that graphic with another.

Animation Timeline

Right-click a graphic's timeline bar to add a stage. For more information, see Animation Timeline.

Animation Details

This area contains the following elements:

• Current Stage
• Stage Duration
• Acceleration
• Show Stages check box
