Course Index

The Course Index is an index composed of important terms and phrases located in the course content. These terms, called keywords and compound keyword phrases, are used to generate the Course Index. You can generate a Course Index from the Tools Menu by selecting Generate Course Index, or by previewing a full course or final publishing a course. When generating a Course Index, the Course Index Editor displays, allowing you to edit the words and terms that will be used to create the Course Index. During course play, users can access the Course Index in the player in the Resources and Settings Dialog.

Note: Course Indexes are not added to the following course types:

• Localized courses
• Courses that are cloned in any language other than English
• Assessment-type courses, including Assessment Only, Test Prep, Certified Practice Exams, and Final Exams
