Unzipping your Custom Course

After copying the contents of the CD Playable Courseware CD to your hard disk and removing the existing course files, you are ready to unzip the contents of your SkillStudio custom course to the CD Playable Courseware CD image, now on your hard disk.

To unzip your custom course

1. Open SkillStudio by either:
   • Clicking on Start | All Programs | Skillsoft | SkillStudio | SkillStudio
   • Double-clicking on the SkillStudio icon on your desktop
2. From the Menu bar, click Zip | Unzip Course (CTRL-SHIFT-U).

   The Unzip Course window opens.

3. Navigate to the location of your stored custom course zip file (created during final publish) on your hard disk and select the zipped file.
4. Click OPEN and the Unzip Course Destination window appears. In the Unzip Course Destination window, navigate to the folder where the CD Playable Courseware CD image is stored.
5. Open the Content Folder and then open the cca folder. Click Save to save the contents of your custom content zip file to this folder, within the CD Playable Courseware CD image.
6. SkillStudio will unzip the contents of your custom course to the ‘cca’ folder. Click OK when the Unzip Course window appears.
7. Close SkillStudio by clicking on the File menu and selecting the Exit option. Click OK when the Confirm Exit window appears.
